International Young Scholars Conference II:
Mediterranean Anatolia
AKMED organised the International Young Scholars Conference I: Mediterranean Anatolia in Antalya in November 2009 and subsequently published the proceedings. Now AKMED plans to bring together young scholars focusing on Lycia, Pisidia, Pamphylia and Cilicia once again in Antalya in November 2015 at the International Young Scholars Conference II: Mediterranean Anatolia.

The symposium is open to young scholars who are currently working on or have recently completed (in the last three years before the application deadline) their graduate theses regarding the archaeology, ancient history, art history, architectural history and protection of the cultural heritage of the above-mentioned regions from their prehistory through the end of Middle Ages. The application form found in the appendix here or on www.gbb.kaleicimuzesi.com should be filled and submitted preferably by email or alternately by post by 15 April 2015.

The applications will then be evaluated by the Academic Advisory Board of the Symposium.
